*ఇక ‘నెట్’ స్కోర్‌‌తోనూ పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్హచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్లపై యూనివర్సిటీ గ్రాంట్స్ కమిషన్ (యూజీసీ) కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. వచ్చే విద్యా సంవత్సరం (2024-25) నుంచి పీహెచ్‌డీ ప్రవేశాల కోసం నేషనల్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ (నెట్) స్కోర్లను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోవచ్చని వెల్లడించింది.
*ఇక ‘నెట్’ స్కోర్‌‌తోనూ పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్హచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్లపై యూనివర్సిటీ గ్రాంట్స్ కమిషన్ (యూజీసీ) కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. వచ్చే విద్యా సంవత్సరం (2024-25) నుంచి పీహెచ్‌డీ ప్రవేశాల కోసం నేషనల్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ (నెట్) స్కోర్లను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోవచ్చని వెల్లడించింది. మార్చి 13న యూజీసీ 578వ సమావేశం ఢిల్లీ వేదికగా జరిగింది. యూజీసీ నెట్ పరీక్షకు సంబంధించిన నిబంధనలపై నిపుణుల కమిటీ చేసిన సిఫార్సులపై ఈ మీటింగ్‌లో కూలంకషంగా చర్చించి.. పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్లు ఇచ్చేందుకు నెట్ స్కోరును లెక్కలోకి తీసుకోవచ్చని తీర్మానించారు. ఒకే రకమైన కోర్సులలో అడ్మిషన్ల కోసం ఒకటికి మించి ప్రవేశ పరీక్షలను నిర్వహించకూడదని జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం చెబుతోంది. ఈ నిబంధన అమలులో భాగంగానే తాజా నిర్ణయాన్ని యూజీసీ తీసుకుంది. ప్రస్తుతానికి నెట్ పరీక్ష స్కోరును జూనియర్ రీసెర్చ్ ఫెలోషిప్ (జేఆర్ఎఫ్) అర్హత కోసం, అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్ నియామకాల కోసం పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుంటున్నారు.

నేషనల్ టెస్టింగ్ ఏజెన్సీ ద్వారా ప్రతి సంవత్సరం జూన్, డిసెంబర్‌లలో నెట్ ఎగ్జామ్‌ను నిర్వహిస్తుంటారు. యూజీసీ నెట్ జూన్ -2024 నోటిఫికేషన్ త్వరలో విడుదల కానుంది. జూన్ 2024 నుంచి యూజీసీ నెట్‌లో అర్హత సాధించే అభ్యర్థులను మూడు కేటగిరీలుగా వర్గీకరిస్తారు. జేఆర్ఎఫ్‌తో పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్‌, అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్ అపాయింట్‌మెంట్లకు అర్హులైన వారు మొదటి కేటగిరిలో ఉంటారు. జేఆర్ఎఫ్ లేకుండా పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్‌, అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్ అపాయింట్‌మెంట్లకు అర్హులైన వారు రెండో కేటగిరిలో ఉంటారు. కేవలం పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్‌కే అర్హతను కలిగినవారు మూడో కేటగిరిలో ఉంటారు.నెట్ స్కోర్ ద్వారా పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్ల కోసం కేటగిరి రెండు, మూడులో ఉండే అభ్యర్థులను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుంటారు. వారి నెట్ స్కోర్‌ను 70 శాతం, పీహెచ్‌డీ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో వచ్చే మార్కులను 30 శాతం కలుపుకొని పీహెచ్‌డీ అడ్మిషన్‌పై నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటారు. నెట్ స్కోర్ ఏడాదికాలం పాటు చెల్లుబాటు అవుతుంది.
