In line with GHMC expansion and the Telangana Rising 2047 vision, the Telangana Government has reorganized the police administration, constituting four Police Commissionerates to strengthen law & order and improve public service delivery.

🔹 Hyderabad Commissionerate: Assembly, Secretariat, Begumpet, Shamshabad Airport, Budvel High Court

🔹 Cyberabad Commissionerate: IT hubs including Gachibowli, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Madhapur, Raidurg, and major industrial areas such as Patancheru, Genome Valley, RC Puram, and Ameenpur

🔹 Malkajgiri Commissionerate (New): Keesara, Shamirpet, Quthbullapur, Kompally

🔹 Future City Commissionerate (New): Chevella, Moinabad, Shankarpally, Maheshwaram, Ibrahimpatnam, and surrounding areas

➡️ Yadadri–Bhongir district has been excluded from commissionerate jurisdiction and will function as a separate police unit with an SP.

This reorganisation aligns with GHMC zoning reforms and the CURE–PURE–RARE regional development strategy under Telangana Rising 2047.

The Government has also issued orders appointing Police Commissioners for all four Commissionerates.
